our team
Our management team consists of three dependable, detail-oriented and client-focused women. As you plan your wedding we will have two detailed meetings discussing all things venue related. We will work alongside your coordinator and other vendors to facilitate your perfect day. Our day-of team includes one of the three managers, a day assistant, bartending staff, parking staff and clean up crew.
Non-Wedding events don’t require as much detailed planning but our management team will still work with you to help that event be a success.

The Cannery
1929
Libby, McNeill and Libby purchased all 3 canning facilities
1930
All operations were canning 15 million cans of pumpkin per year.
1939
Eureka hosted the first pumpkin festival and parade.
1947
The largest pumpkin festival to date , with a parade led by Ronald Reagan on a white palomino horse.
1960
The Eureka Canning Factory closed, and all operations moved to Morton.
1895
The Canning Factory was established by Elijah Dickinson.
1898
Roger Dickinson, Elijah’s son, took over operations.
1902
Canned pumpkin and other vegetables were added, producing ~8,000 cans of vegetables per day.
1909
An additional canning factory was built in Washington, IL.
1925
Another facility was built in Morton, IL.
2015
Walnut Grove Properties purchased the canning factory building on Bullock St.
2017
The Major St. building was acquired in April and renovations began in the Main Space. Our first event was held in the Main Space in September!
2018
Courtyard and Grove renovations were completed, and we held our first outdoor wedding in the Courtyard that Spring.
2019
Renovations for the Bridal Suite were completed just in time for our 2019 wedding season.
